Three-wall bookcase
Three-wall flush-fronted bookcase: adjustable on ‘tonk’ strip and fixed shelves. The client was a TV documentary-maker who needed a reference library, but didn’t have a huge amount of space, hence the flush-fronted units. The ‘joining’ shelving unit, traversing the dividing door, is supported by accurate rebates cut into the adjoining verticals. This avoids any visible means of support, and allows the books to ‘continue’ behind, using all the space available. Storage cupboards below accommodate extra files/storage.Finished in coded eggshell on MDF to match existing colour.
